Gunners Linked With Turkey Defender
Arsenal are preparing a January bid for Juventus defender Merih Demiral.
The 21-year-old Turkey international has played just 90 minutes of football for Juve so far this season and the Serie A side are willing to let him leave if they receive the right offer.
Demiral’s only appearance under coach Maurizio Sarri came in September. Since then he has been overlooked by the former Chelsea boss who prefers Daniele Rugani.
The Turk only arrived at Juventus during the summer in a £15 million transfer from Sporting Lisbon. With so little game time this season that suggests the Gunners already have a dossier on him and had been keeping tabs prior to his move. Demiral spent the second half of last season on loan at Sassuolo from Sporting.
Manchester United have also been linked.
