Blues Have Transfer Option
Manchester United face competition for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho in the shape of his former club Manchester City.
The Red Devils are being strongly linked with a bid at the end of the season for the England international having been knocked back last summer.
Sancho left City for Dortmund in a £9 million transfer in 2017 after failing to make a single first-team appearance for the club. The transfer agreement gives City the right to match or better any bid received by the Bundesliga side should they decide to sell Sancho. It means City are in the loop for the 19-year-old and according to German newspaper Sport Bild they could put in a bid of their own.
The interest from two of the world’s biggest clubs will only serve to heighten interest in Sancho. Dortmund are ready to slap a price of around €100 million (£90 million) on a player who is rapidly becoming one of their most influential performers. Reports on Monday claimed United are prepared to pay £100 million.
Sancho has scored 18 goals and provided 30 assists in 68 appearances for Dortmund since his arrival at the club.
