Spaniard Happy At Arsenal
On-loan Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has had talks with Real Madrid about making the move permanent.
Ceballos is currently on a season-long loan at the Emirates, but he has impressed during his short time in north London scoring once and providing two assists in 11 appearances.
According to the Spanish newspaper El Desmarques, the 23-year-old met with Real president Florentino Perez this week to discuss the prospect of a transfer as early as January.
If true, the story represents a complete turn-around for Ceballos. The Spain international insisted that no option to purchase be placed in the loan deal between the two clubs as he was determined to return to the Bernabeu next summer.
However, the Spaniard is happy with the level of trust placed in him by Gunners boss Unai Emery- something he didn’t experience under Zinedine Zidane at Madrid.
Real are prepared to allow Ceballos to leave for Arsenal permanently – if the price is right.
The Gunners have already stated they aren’t looking to make any new signings in January. For that reason alone a transfer in the summer looks more likely
