Bundesliga Giants Make Contact
Bayern Munich are ready to join Real Madrid in the race for Tottenham Hotspur winger Christian Eriksen.
The Denmark international is in the final year of his contract with Spurs and the north London club are preparing to let him go in January rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the season.
Real Madrid were linked on Saturday after it was revealed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has instructed agents working on Tottenham’s behalf to find a new club for Eriksen. The La Liga side are believed to be Eriksen’s preferred destination although their interest in the summer was muted as they preferred to pursue Paul Pogba.
However, German TV station Sport 1 claims Bayern are also interested. It says they have already contacted Eriksen’s representatives and that he is interested in the prospect of a move to the Bundesliga side.
Bayern already have Barcelona forward Philippe Coutinho on loan at the Allianz Arena while Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman are also attacking options.
