Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea will open talks in January with Serie A side Juventus over a move next summer according to reports.

The Spain international is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and has been offered a deal worth £350,000 a week to stay.

De Gea can open talks with overseas clubs over a pre-contract agreement from 1 January and the Sunday Express believes those talks will take place early in the New Year.

Juve are looking to replace their current first-choice keeper, Wojciech Szczesny and, like they did this year with midfielder Aaron Ramsey, they will open talks at the first available opportunity over a free transfer next summer.

The report also claims United have already lined up a successor to De Gea in the form of Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak. The Slovenia international has been linked previously with United but a release fee in his contract with the La Liga side of €120 million has acted as a deterrent.

Paris Saint-Germain are also being linked with De Gea.
