PSG Want Guarantees Over Loan
Paris Saint-Germain have rejected Barcelona’s opening offer for Brazilian striker Neymar.
Barca are unable to sign Neymar this summer – at least on a cash basis. Talks over up to three of the La Liga side’s players moving to PSG as part of the deal collapsed when the French side demanded players such as Ousmane Dembele and Nelson Semedo who are very much part of coach Ernesto Valverde’s plans for the current season.
Reports from Spain claim Barca have made an opening offer of a loan deal with a €150 million transfer at the end of the season.
However, the offer has been rejected out of hand by PSG. They want €250 million with a guarantee on Barca’s part that they will definitely exercise the option of a permanent move next summer,
Real Madrid are keeping tabs on the situation but – like Barcelona – they have already splashed the cash this summer and also need to watch the pennies.
But Juventus are the latest club to be linked. The Serie A champions are considering using Paulo Dybala as part of any transfer deal. The Argentina international was linked last month with interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. However, he is only interested in a move to one of three clubs: Real Madrid, Barcelona – and PSG.
