Dortmund ‘Looking For Sancho Replacement’
Manchester United are on alert following reports that Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho will be leaving the Bundesliga side next summer.
United and local rivals Manchester City were both linked this summer with the 19-year-old only to be told by Dortmund there was no chance of him leaving.
But the Daily Mail claims Dortmund have already started looking for a replacement for the England international. The paper adds no concrete evidence to back up that statement. However, it suggests that United are more advanced of the two clubs.
City sold Sancho to Dortmund in 2017 for a fee of £7 million. But they inserted a clause into the transfer agreement where they can be informed as and when the German side receive any bid so they can put in a bid of their own.
Pogba’s Brother Thinks Deal Can Still Be Done
The brother of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba says the France international wants to leave Old Trafford.
Pogba has been linked with interest this summer from Juventus and Real Madrid but United are insisting he is going nowhere.
But Mathias Pogba insists a move can still happen before the transfer windows close in Italy on 23 August and 2 September respectively.
“Paul wants to go. He can’t do everything at United”, Mathias told Spanish TV programme El Chiringuito.
“The player that Zidane is missing is Paul. It’s not impossible for Florentino to sign him.
“I can’t guarantee that Paul will continue at United. Until September 2, anything can happen. Madrid needs the football and joy that Paul brings.”
