Gunners See Latest Bid Rejected
Arsenal are still some way off meeting Crystal Palace’s £80 million valuation of Wilfried Zaha.
The Gunners’ latest bid was of £55 million with a further £10 million in add-ons and bonuses. They would also send youngster Reiss Nelson on a season-long loan to the Eagles as a short-term replacement for Zaha.
But Palace are standing firm and rejected this latest offer out of hand. Reports suggest the Eagles may look for the permanent transfer of an Arsenal player as part of the deal – Carl Jenkinson is being mentioned.
Zaha wants the move to go through and reports this morning claim the deal is likely to go ahead. But Arsenal will need to up their bid to have any chance.
