Manchester United have opened talks over the transfer of Lille winger Nicolas Pepe. David De Gea looks set to sign a new six-year deal at Old Trafford that would make him the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world. More details here.

Newcastle United could offer a deal to former striker Andy Carroll after he was released by West Ham United. The Magpies are also interested in Burnley winger Dwight McNeil but are only willing to offer a £15 million transfer fee for the 19-year-old. Burnley value McNeil at £30 million.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen looks set to sign for Mexican side Monterrey. Spurs are prepared to pay £25 million for Fulham full-back Ryan Sessegnon. Danny Rose is being linked with Juventus and Barcelona.

Manchester City are considering an £18 million transfer deal for 18-year-old Argentine midfielder Thiago Almada. The teenager plays for Velez Sarsfield in his homeland.
