Hazard, Bale, Pogba, Dier
Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea. The La Liga side will pay an initial €100 million (£89 million) with up to £60 million more in add-ons and bonus payments. Hazard will be presented as a Real Madrid player on Thursday.
Chelsea also look set to lose manager Maurizio Sarri to Juventus. He will sign a three-year deal this week with the Italian champions. Full-back Marcos Alonso is being linked with Atletico Madrid but Chelsea’s transfer ban is likely to rule out any move.
Manchester United are being linked with Gareth Bale as part of a deal that could take Paul Pogba to Real Madrid. However, Bale’s age – he turns 30 in July – is likely to form a barrier to any transfer. Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola could have his worldwide ban lifted this month. United are also being linked with Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier. However, United transfer target Bruno Fernandes is wanted by Liverpool.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been in touch with Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier in a bid to persuade him to move to the Emirates. The Gunners have been told to pay €50 million (£44 million) for the Sampdoria duo Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet.
Arsenal and West Ham United are both interested in Eibar midfielder Joan Jordan.
West Ham United have been linked with Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden.
Everton and Arsenal are both keen on 27-year-old Getafe defender Djene Dakonam.
Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The 22-year-old is also wanted by Manchester City. Spurs transfer target Ryan Sessegnon has told Fulham he won’t sign a new deal at Craven Cottage.
