Arsenal Have Three Transfer Priorities

Gunners Looking To Sign Three Players

Arsenal transfer news

Arsenal are prioritising a left-back, a wide attacker and a replacement for Aaron Ramsey in the transfer market this summer. But there is unlikely to be a move for Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.

A tight budget will affect the Gunners’s ability to spend big this summer. Arsenal are believed to have a transfer budget of around £40-45million this summer although that figure could increase if players are sold.

But according to a speculative piece by Football London, the north London side are keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s Christopher Nkunku at PSG and Ismaila Sarr at Rennes.

Arsenal have been linked with Lille’s Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe but with a price tag of at least £70million he is now out of the Gunners’ price range.

Kieran Tierney of Celtic is also being linked although he, too, may be out of the Gunners’ price range.

But Denis Suarez is unlikely to remain at Arsenal beyond the end of the season. The on-loan Barcelona winger has only appeared as a substitute since his arrival from the Nou Camp at the end of January. However, his performances in training haven’t been good enough for Unai Emery to consider him as a potential starter and Arsenal are unlikely to take up the option of a permanent transfer this summer.
