Perisic Up For Sale
Arsenal transfer target Ivan Perisic is likely to be sold by Inter Milan this summer according to reports from Italy.
The Croatia international was linked in January with a move to the Emirates, but Arsenal were only interested in a loan deal which was ruled out by Inter.
Perisic handed in a transfer request at the Serie A club and he looks set to be sold this summer. Inter will also listen to offers for another player who has been linked in the past with the Gunners, striker Mauro Icardi. However, Arsenal have a total budget of around £45million to play with this summer which means a bid for the Argentine is out of the question.
Perisic is an unusual target for Arsenal. He turned 30 last month – the age beyond which Arsene Wenger lost interest in a player. But Unai Emery has torn up the rule book about players’ ages and a move for Perisic could still be on.
Inter are likely to demand around €30million.
Part-Exchange For Wan-Bissaka?
Arsenal are being linked once again with Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Palace are likely to demand £40million for the England Under-21 international who has broken into the side this season.
The Sun speculates that the Gunners could use two of the club’s youngsters as makeweights in any deal. Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles could head to Selhurst Park in any cash-plus-player transfer.
