Juventus Move Ruled Out
Manchester United will be encouraged by comments made by the agent of summer transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Senegal international is top of United’s wish-list for the close season having been deterred from making a bid in January by Napoli’s valuation of £105million.
Koulibaly is also being linked with a number of other top clubs. But his agent Bruno Satin believes the defender is unlikely to join Napoli’s chief rivals at the top end of Serie A.
“Koulibaly at Juventus? He’s very close to Napoli, the club and above all to the city,” Satin told the Naples-based radio station Radio Kiss Kiss.
“I don’t think he would ever betray them to go to Juventus, but let’s not forget that they are professional players.
“If you have the chance to play on important stages, you listen, even if I repeat he is very close to Napoli.”
Napoli lie in second place behind Juventus in Serie A although they are 13 points behind their rivals who have won 21 and drawn three of their 24 league games so far this season.
Barcelona In Rashford Link
Just a day after reports that Marcus Rashford looks set to sign a six-year deal with Manchester United comes rumours of another top club interested in him.
Rashford’s situation is already being monitored Real Madrid. But this time it’s Barcelona who are being linked with the 21-year-old.
However, the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo which broke the story claims the chances of the La Liga side landing Rashford are slim. The paper says that while there is interest from the Nou Camp, Rashford is “an impossible dream” for the La Liga leaders. It adds there is little hope of Manchester United agreeing to enter talks to sell Rashford.
