Salah In Juve Link
Liverpool have been offered a cash-plus-player bid by Juventus for striker Mo Salah.
Reports from Italy claim the Serie A giants have offered €50million (£44million) plus Argentina international forward Paulo Dybala.
Salah signed a new five-year deal with the Reds last July that is said to be worth around £200,000 a week. The contract was to fend off interest from overseas clubs following a season in which he finished as the Premier League’s top scorer with 30 goals. He hit 44 goals in all competitions for the Merseyside club. This season he is the league’s joint top scorer on 17 goals.
Dybala had his best season with Juventus in 2017-18 with 22 goals in Serie A. But the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo last summer has severely affected him He has scored just twice in 20 games in the league. But he has saved his form for the Champions League with five goals in five appearances. Chelsea and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old.
Liverpool are expected to dig in their heels over the Egyptian regardless whatever offer they receive. Plus Dybala’s form as it has been in this campaign won’t help to prise Salah away from Anfield.
As for the player himself he seems happy at Liverpool and isn’t believed to be keen on a return to Italy. He moved to Anfield from Roma in the summer of 2017.
