Arsenal are being linked with Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.

The Algeria international is out of contract at the end of the season and speculation suggests he could be a target for the Gunners.

According to Portugese newspaper A Bola, Arsenal are one of three clubs interested in the 28-year-old. AC Milan and Watford are also being linked.

Brahimi is being seen as a potential replacement for Danny Welbeck whose own contract expires in the summer. Arsenal were first linked with him as far back as December 2016.

Arsenal are believed to have a transfer kitty of £40million for the summer and free agents may well come in to the picture. The Gunners are also being linked with Brahimi’s team-mate Hector Herrera although the Mexican hasn’t ruled out staying with Porto. Herrera, 28, will also be a free agent this summer.

Mustafi To Move On

The Daily Telegraph claims Arsenal will listen to offers this summer for Shkodran Mustafi. The German defender hasn’t been a success since he moved from Valencia in a £35million transfer in 2016.

But the Gunners will have to take a big financial hit on Mustafi. That could be offset by bringing in a replacement on lower wages.

Mustafi is under contract at the Emirates until 2021 meaning Arsenal will need to raise at least £14million (two-fifths of £35million) to avoid a book loss on the 26-year-old.

Rabiot In Champions League Squad

Arsenal transfer target Adrien Rabiot has been thrown a lifeline by Paris Saint-Germain. The France international has been frozen out at the French champions after he refused to sign a new deal with the club. His contract expires at the end of the season.

But Rabiot has been included in the side’s squad for the knockout stages in the Champions League amidst rumours he could be ready to put pen to paper.

Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur are also being linked with a player who was a transfer target for the Gunners as far back as August 2015.
