United Watch England Youngster
Manchester United are being linked with a summer move for Borussia Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho.
According to Metro, United are keeping tabs on Sancho with the prospect of a possible bid for the England international this summer.
Sancho left Manchester City for Dortmund in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee of £8million. That was after he rejected the offer of a £30,000-a-week wage at the Etihad.
The 18-year-old has gone on to become one of Europe’s hottest properties and is being linked with a move back to England this summer. City have first choice and can match any bid received by Dortmund. That’s according to the terms of the transfer agreement that took Sancho to the Bundesliga side less than two years ago.
Fellaini, Williams Leave. Five Out On Loan
Manchester United had a quiet transfer window after all. Rumours of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only being granted loan moves even proved to be wide of the mark.
Marouane Fellaini was the only first-team regular to leave the club on transfer deadline day after United agreed a deal with Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng.
The two sides shook hands on a fee on Wednesday and Fellaini flew out to China on Wednesday to talk over personal terms. It is believed he has already passed a medical.
It is thought the 31-year-old could earn as much as £200,000 a week in the Far East.
The transfer window in China is open for another month with the season commencing in early March.
The only other permanent exit was for defender Ro-Shaun Williams who has joined League One side Shrewsbury Town.
Five reserve-team players have gone out on loan. Goalkeeper Joel Pereira has joined Belgian side Kortrijk, midfielder Matty Wilcock will spend the remainder of the season at Crawley Town, Callum Whelan has joined Port Vale, forward Zak Dearnley has moved to Oldham Athletic and Tom Sang has joined National League side AFC Fylde.
