Manchester United’s move for Napoli central defender Kalidou Koulibaly may have to wait until the summer. Athletic Bilbao want a return for United midfielder Ander Herrera but he may well sign a new deal at Old Trafford. More details here.

Inter Milan are prepared to sell Ivan Perisic to raise funds to sign Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric. However, after being linked with Perisic over the past two summers, Manchester United are unlikely to be interested.

Arsenal transfer target Denis Suarez has told the Barcelona hierarchy that he wants to move to the Emirates. More on that story here.

Chelsea are closing in on AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain. However, the Blues are also interested in Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. Bayern Munich have increased their offer for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi to £35m. Andre Silva is also being linked with a move to Chelsea. The Portugal international is currently on loan at Sevilla from AC Milan. Any move could be dependent on Alvaro Morata heading to the Spanish side.

Tottenham Hotspur will demand £225m from Real Madrid for midfielder Christian Eriksen. Spurs striker Fernando Llorente is being linked with a return to former club Athletic Bilbao. Talks will take place with striker Vincent Janssen over a possible move away from the club.

Arsene Wenger has been approached to take over as head coach of the Qatar national team.

Everton scouts have watched Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi.

Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart is wanted on loan by Championship side Preston North End. Clarets centre-back Jimmy Dunne is wanted by Sunderland.
