Premier League transfer news and rumours

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Barcelona’s unsettled former Liverpool forward Phillipe Coutinho. United’s interest in Atletico Madrid central defender Diego Godin is at an end after he rejected their fresh offer to him. More on those stories here.

Arsenal are in pole position to sign Yannick Carrasco from Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifeng. AC Milan are interested and Manchester United have also been linked. Arsenal, Manchester United, Roma and Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Cruzeiro keeper Gabriel Brazao. Details here.

Disagreements over the size of the transfer fee are holding up Cesc Fabregas’s move from Chelsea to Monaco. Chelsea face competition from Inter Milan and Napoli for Cagliari’s £45m-rated midfielder Nicola Barella. Sevilla are in talks with Chelsea over the loan transfer of Alvaro Morata.

Real Madrid have begun initial approaches in a bid to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur. Eriksen wants to double his £70,000-a-week wages.

Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich have all had bids rejected for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala. The Serie A side are looking for at least €100m (£90m) for the Argentina international.

Fulham, Burnley and Cardiff City are all interested in Marseille winger Clinton N’Jie.

Fulham are interested in Bordeaux and Senegal international right-back Youssouf Sabaly.

RB Leipzig and Liverpool transfer target Timo Werner is wanted by both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

West Ham United have been offered Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa on loan to the end of the season.

Liverpool and Everton are both interested in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
