Welshman Set For Juventus Move
Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants to hold on to midfielder Aaron Ramsey until the end of the season.
Ramsey is reported to have agreed a pre-contract deal with Juventus and will move to the Serie A side on a free transfer at the end of the season. He is set to sign a five-year contract worth around £200,000 a week.
But Juve want Ramsey now rather than in the summer. The Welshman is believed to be keen to make the move aod the Serie A side are ready to offer former Germany international Sami Khedira as part of the deal.
However, Emery wants to keep Ramsey especially as there are fears that Juve won’t allow Khedira to move this month.
Transfers at Arsenal are handled largely by director of football Raul Sanllehi in conjunction with managing director Vinai Venkatesham and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat. The trio decided to withdraw the offer of a new deal to Ramsey in September although the head coach was sounded out about the move.
