Premier League transfer news and transfer rumours

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly set to sign a pre-contract agreement with Juventus. But the Serie A side may try to sign him this month by offering Sami Khedira in a loan swap. Arsenal transfer target Keylor Navas has signed a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid. Mesut Ozil’s future will be decided at the end of the season. More on those stories here.

Bookies have slashed the odds on Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly joining Manchester United this month. Timothy Fosu-Mensah is back at United after spending the first half of the season at Fulham. The 21-year-old was sent back so the Cottagers could sign Gary Cahill on loan from Chelsea. Details here.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could be a target for La Liga side Sevilla. Any move would be on loan. Morata would prefer a move back to Real Madrid. However, he will only leave if the Blues sign a replacement. AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has been linked but Chelsea have decided against a move for the Argentine. Cesc Fabregas’s transfer to Monaco will also take place only when the Blues have signed a replacement. Chelsea are being linked with a £36m bid for PSV Eindhoven striker Hirving Lozano. Tammy Abraham’s future will be decided by 14 January. The Blues can only recall the striker from his loan spell at Aston Villa two weeks into the transfer window.

Bayern Munich have made a third bid in excess of £30m for Chelsea’s 18-year-old midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is wanted by Fenerbahce.

Crystal Palace have ended their interest in Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke over concerns about his fitness. Solanke has yet to appear for the Reds this season and the lack of match fitness led to the deal being ended. Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi is an alternative although Palace have made £6.5m bid for Everton striker Oumar Niasse.

Cardiff City and Bournemouth are both keen to sign Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne on a loan transfer.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is refusing to rule out a move away from the club this month for Moussa Dembele. Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Victor Wanyama could also leave.

Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe looks set to move to Rangers.

Leicester City have yet to finalise a deal with Villareal for Foxes midfielder Vicente Iborra.
