Real To Offer Player Swap Deal?
Chelsea will be offered Isco and Mateo Kovacic by Real Madrid in a bid to persuade them to part with Eden Hazard.
The Belgium international is expected to depart Stamford Bridge in the summer. He is refusing to sign a new deal with the west London side and will be just one year away from the end of his contract next summer.
Chelsea were reported to be demanding £200million for Hazard last summer. They received no takers for such a valuation.
But according to reports from Spain, Real are prepared to offer two players to the Blues in return for Hazard.
One of the duo, Mateo Kovacic, is on a season-long loan at Chelsea from Real Madrid. He has made 13 Premier League starts for the Blues along with four appearances off the bench. However, he has yet to complete a full 90 minutes in the league.
Spanish radio network Onda Cero claims that Kovacic will be offered to Chelsea permanently as part of any deal for Hazard. But the Blues could also be in a position to sign Isco. The £90million-rated Spain international has fallen down the pecking order since Santi Solari succeeded Julen Lopetegui in November and he could be set to leave the club in the summer.
Manchester City and Arsenal are also being linked with Isco but he could be offered to Chelsea if they allow Hazard to move to the Bernabeu.
