But Gunners Face Competition From Top European Sides
Arsenal are keen on the young Chelsea midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The 18-year-old elected to remain at Stamford Bridge after making his Premier League debut for the Blues last season.
Hudson-Odoi came on as a substitute appearance in the 4-1 defeat at Watford in February and was also a substitute in the 3-1 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the beginning of April.
Those two appearances totalled just 27 minutes but it gave the teenager hope of more first-team football this season.
Hudson-Odoi played 59 minutes of the Community Shield defeat to Manchester City in August and he has made two appearances in the side’s Europa League campaign. But he hasn’t made the squad in any of Chelsea’s Premier League games leading to suggestions he could leave the club to find first-team football.
Arsenal are one of the clubs being linked with Hudson-Odoi although Chelsea may hesitate before selling to a Premier League rival.
Bayern Munich are in pole position for his signature and there is also interest from Barcelona and Juventus.
