Arsenal Boss Has A Look At Young Prospects
Arsenal boss Unai Emery promoted four of the club’s promising youngsters to train with the first team this week.
The Gunners saw many of their senior squad head off on international duty this week and Emery took the opportunity to have a look at some of his under-23 squad.
Jordi Osei-Tutu, Charlie Gilmour, Zach Medley and Dominic Thompson have all been training with the depleted senior squad this week.
None of the quartet have played for the first team as yet although Osei-Tutu was part of the Arsenal squad that travelled to Manchester United last season and was with the side that played against Red Star Belgrade in a Europa League clash last term.
Gilmour has made seven appearances for the Arsenal under-23 side this season. Centre-back Medley was on the bench for the recent 3-1 victory over Leicester City and has made five appearances at under-23 level.
Left-back Thompson has made four appearances for the under-23 side this campaign.
