Manchester United Transfer News: Juventus Linked With Rashford, Pogba

Juve Compile Rashford Dossier

Marcus Rashford Manchester United

Serie A giants Juventus are ready to firm up their interest in Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

The Italian champions have begun to compile a dossier on Rashford who has scored just twice in 13 appearances for United so far this season. Four of those appearances have come as a substitute with Jose Mourinho preferring Romelu Lukaku as his side’s main striker.

The feeling is that the England international may have to leave Old Trafford to fulfil his potential.

Juve have also begun to carry out “background” and “character” checks according to The Times.

Rashford’s current deal runs to 2020 although the club have an option to extend that by a further year.

Pogba ‘Wants Juventus Return’

Manchester United forward Paul Pogba wants to quit the club and return to Juventus according to reports from Italy.

Pogba’s relationship with Jose Mourinho has shown signs of repairing itself in recent weeks and his form of late has been more like the sort of form that ought to be showed by a player who cost United £89million.

But the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claims he would be open to a move back to Juve. The paper has no concrete evidence to suggest that such a move could take place. Rather it relies on the welcome given to Pogba by the Serie A side’s fans during United’s recent Champions League victory in Turin.

Pogba has yet to show the form for United that made him such a firm favourite during his four years at the Serie A side.
