Midfielder Set For Juve Switch?
Juventus are ready to make a huge offer to Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international will leave the Emirates at the end of the season after the Gunners withdrew their offer of a new deal.
A number of Premier League sides are being linked including Liverpool, Everton and West Ham United. Earlier this month there were reports that Bayern Munich are confident of doing a deal. Serie A side AC Milan are also believed to be interested although that report is likely to be mere speculation following Ivan Gazidis’s decision to move to the Italian club on 1 December as their new chief executive.
But according to The Sun, Juventus are ready to offer Ramsey a four-year deal worth £10million a year – the equivalent of £200,000 a week. Not having to pay a transfer fee has put the Serie A side in a strong position with regards to their offer to the 27-year-old.
Ramsey currently earns around £110,000 a week at Arsenal. He was all set to consider an offer to remain at the Emirates until the club pulled the offer from the table earlier this season.
The Welshman is free to speak to overseas clubs from 1 January over an agreement that could lead to a free transfer at the end of the season.
