Algerian Available On A Free In The Summer
Three Premier League clubs are being linked with FC Porto’s Algeria international forward Yacine Brahimi.
The 28-year-old is out of contract with the Portugese side at the end of the season and he will be free to speak to foreign clubs from 1 January.
According to O Jogo, Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United are all being linked with Brahimi who is in his fifth season with Porto. He has been linked in the past with Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool and was linked with West Ham during the summer. However, the Hammers ended their interest after failing to reach personal terms.
Porto were looking for around €30million (£26million) during the summer. But with less than six months to go on his current deal they will be looking to get what they can for him in January rather than allow him to leave for nothing at the end of the season.
The France-born Ibrahimi has scored 43 goals in 181 games for Porto since his move from Spanish side Granada in 2014.
