Trio Send Scouts To Monitor Midfielder
Three Premier League clubs sent scouts to watch Lazio midfielder Sergey Milinkovic-Savic score in the Serie A side’s 4-1 victory over Genoa on Saturday.
Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City all had representatives at the game to watch a player who was linked for much of last season with Manchester United.
Milinkovic-Savic looked set to leave Lazio in the summer; however, the Italian club put a price tag of over £100million on the 23-year-old and that ended interest from both United and Real Madrid. Some outlets in Italy claim there is still interest from the Red Devils.
Lazio have opened talks over a new deal and sporting director Igli Tare claims an agreement is already in place. His current deal expires in 2022.
