Contract Talks Expected
Juventus are expected to make a move next summer for Lazio midfielder Sergey Milinkovic-Savic.
The 23-year-old was linked this summer with interest from both Juve and Manchester United. Real Madrid could also make a late move as the Spanish transfer window enters its final week.
However, Italian newspaper La Repubblica reports in its print edition on Friday that the Juve top brass have already earmarked a move next summer for the Serbia international.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito is still demanding €115million (£103.8million; $133.3million) for Milinkovic-Savic. It’s a valuation he is unlikely to achieve. Manchester United tracked the forward for the whole of last season only to lose interest when Lotito refused to drop his price.
For now, Milinkovic-Savic is expected to have talks over a new deal with Lazio that will give him a significant pay rise even though it might not keep him at the club beyond the end of the season.
