David Ospina Set For Arsenal Exit

Besiktas To Sign Colombian

David Ospina Arsenal news

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has agreed personal terms over a move to Turkish side Besiktas.

The Colombia international looks set to bring down the curtain on a four-year career at the Emirates in a deal that will see the Gunners bring in somewhere in the region of £6million.

An exit for one of their keepers was always on the cards for Arsenal following the arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen in June. The Germany international now looks set to be the Gunners’ first-choice keeper with Petr Cech as his understudy.

Ospina made 70 first-team appearances for Arsenal. However, only 29 of those appearances came in Premier League games. The rest were in domestic and European cup competitions.

The deal is likely to be done after the Premier League transfer window closes. The transfer window in Turkey runs to 31 August.
