Chilean Set For Bayern Exit
Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal looks set to join Inter Milan.
The Chile international was reported earlier this week to be on his way out of the German champions with club chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stating publicly that Vidal’s future was entirely in his own hands.
But the print edition of Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claims today that a move to Inter looks set to happen. Another Italian newspaper, La Stampa, claims the former Juventus man is ready to take a cut in pay from €8million to €4.5million a year to make the deal go through.
The 31-year-old has spent three seasons with Bayern but his game time has decreased with each season and he started only 17 of Bayern’s 34 Bundesliga games last season.
Manchester United were also linked with Vidal but his age counts against him with the Premier League club only interested in players under the age of 30.
