PSG Lodge Bid For Juventus’s Alex Sandro

Opening Offer Rejected

Alex Sandro Manchester United transfer news

Paris Saint-Germain have put in a bid for the Juventus full-back Alex Sandro. The Brazil international’s future appears to lie away from Juve.

The club will need to generate cash through players sales following the £100million signing of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid. However, reports from Italy put PSG’s initial offer for Sandro at just €40million (£35million). That’s for a player valued by Juve at €60million (£52million). The offer has been rejected by Juventus.

Sandro has been linked in the past with a move to the Premier League. Chelsea saw a €60million offer turned down last summer as Juventus hadn’t got a replacement lined up. Manchester United were interested for much of last season. However, Jose Mourinho looks set to continue with Ashley Young as his first-choice left-back and Luke Shaw and new signing Diogo Dalot as his understudies.
