Liverpool In Fresh Link With West Ham’s Lanzini

West Ham Midfielder Is Liverpool Target Claims Report

Manuel Lanzini West Ham United transfer news

Liverpool are interested in signing West Ham United midfielder Manuel Lanzini according to reports from Argentina.

The 25-year-old playmaker is being linked with a move to Anfield as the replacement for Philippe Coutinho who was sold to Barcelona during the January transfer window.

Lanzini was linked with Liverpool last summer as the Reds tried to fend off a move from Barcelona for Coutinho. But West Ham insisted that Lanzini was going nowhere as Coutinho’s transfer was delayed from the summer to the winter transfer window.

The Argentina international is in his third season at West Ham following a move from Al-Jazira in the Arabian Gulf League in 2015. He spent his first season on loan at the east London club before moving permanently in a £12million transfer in the summer of 2016.

Lanzini has gone on to nail down a regular first-team place at the London Stadium. He made 23 league starts and four substitute appearances in the season just ended scoring five goals for the Hammers.

Liverpool have also been linked with Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir.
