Premier League transfer news and rumours

Arsenal’s bid to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund could be scuppered if Olivier Giroud doesn’t move to Chelsea or if Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi doesn’t move to Dortmund. Full details here.

Manchester United could sign one more player before tomorrow’s transfer deadline although a summer move for a central midfielder seems more likely. United and Manchester City have joined Barcelona, Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in the pursuit of Monaco’s teenage defender Benoit Badiashile. More on that story here.

Chelsea have agreed to pay £17.6m for Roma full-back Emerson Palmieri. The Blues will reject any bid from Manchester City for Eden Hazard even if City bid over £200m.

Manchester City have lodged Aymeric Laporte’s £57m release fee. A medical for the Athletic Bilbao defender can now take place.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan for the rest of the season. Midfielder Emre Can is a target for Serie A side Juventus though any deal is unlikely to take place before the summer.

Watford have signed Barcelona’s former Everton midfielder Gerard Deulofeu on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Everton are willing to send midfielder Davy Klaessen out on loan. The Dutchman hasn’t played a Premier League game since September.

Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa has passed a medical ahead of a loan move to La Liga side Sevilla. The Swans are still interested in re-signing Andre Ayew from West Ham United. However, they will have to bid more than their £15.5m club transfer record. Swansea have already seen one bid worth £14m rejected by the Hammers.

Crystal Palace have agreed an £8m fee for Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill. Palace also want to sign Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita and Lille defender Ibrahim Amadou.

Manchester City are on the verge of the £4m transfer of New York City winger Jack Harrison. The England under-21 international will be sent out on loan to Championship side Middlesbrough.

Burnley have offered Nottingham Forest a deal worth up to £10m for midfielder Joe Worrall.
