Arsenal Linked With Demirbay
Arsenal will battle Everton and AC Milan in their pursuit of Hoffenhem midfielder Kerem Demirbay.
The Germany international has flourished at Hoffenheim since moving to the club from Hamburg in 2016. He has gone on to make 51 appearances scoring eight goals and he made his international debut in June 2017. He was also part of the Germany squad for the Confederations Cup tournament last summer.
Reports from Italy claim that Milan chief Massimo Mirabelli wants Demirbay to boost Gennaro Gattuso’s struggling squad.
However, Newsmondo claims that Milan are about to miss out on the 24-year-old. It reports that Arsenal and Everton are both preparing bids this summer.
But Everton boss Sam Allardyce has publicly stated that he wants to boost his defence and his attack this month – not his midfield options. In theory, that just leaves Arsenal and Milan in the race.
