Liverpool could send striker Danny Ings out on loan in January.

The 25-year-old is fit again after missing much of the last two seasons through injury. But he could find it difficult to break straight in to the Reds’ side and according to reports Jurgen Klopp is looking to send him out on loan in the second half of the season.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Ings is still eyeing up a place in England’s World Cup squad for next summer.

He hasn’t played a Premier League game since he came on as a second-half substitute in the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion in May 2016. His only appearances since then have come in three League Cup ties. He came in the 73rd minute of the League Cup defeat at Leicester City in September.

Ings was the subject of some interest from sides in the Championship during the summer. However, he is looking to stay in the Premier League.
