Giroud In Arsenal Exit Link
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could leave the club this summer as he wants more first-team football.
The France international striker has started just 11 Premier League games for the Gunners this season and been a substitute in 18 others as Arsene Wenger has preferred Alexis Sanchez for his attacking options. But those 30 appearances have brought 12 goals at an average of just under 100 minutes each.
But Giroud has one eye on the World Cup Finals in Russia next year and he knows he needs to be playing regular first-team football if he wants to make the France squad.
Reports last month linked Giroud with interest from Marseille in his homeland. The Ligue 1 outfit now have a wealthy American backer who is willing to pay as much as £20million for the Arsenal frontman.
The Frenchman has scored a total of 98 goals in 225 appearances for Arsenal since arriving from Montpellier in 2012.
Pereira, Silva In Arsenal Link
Arsenal transfer targets Danilo Pereira and Andre Silva could be sold by FC Porto this summer.
The Gunners were linked back in January with Danilo with Arsenal scouts having watched him in action. Arsene Wenger resisted paying his £34million transfer fee at the time although it was suggested that a summer move was more likely.
Andre Silva was linked with Arsenal back in March. The 21-year-old has scored 23 goals in 51 appearances for Porto over the past two campaigns. Twenty of those goals have come in 37 games this season.
However, Porto need the money and Record newspaper claims that with both players in the Portugal side that will play at the Confederations Cup this summer the pair will be in the shop window.
A number of clubs outside Portugal are keeping tabs on the duo. However, most interest in likely to come from the Premier League.
