Manchester United have had a £72m bid for Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe rejected by the French league leaders. Antoine Griezmann’s wages at Manchester United could cost almost as much again as his £85m transfer fee. Wayne Rooney could leave the club to make way for Griezmann. Manchester United have made contact with Torino over the Serie A side’s £85m-rated striker Andrea Belotti. David De Gea has not told Manchester United he wants to leave the club this summer. De Gea is being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Arsenal could miss out on the transfer of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette if they fail to make next season’s Champions League. Arsenal are keeping tabs on Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals but face competition for his signature from Valencia and Barcelona. Arsenal transfer news here.

Chelsea look set to offer goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois a new, improved deal to fend off interest from Real Madrid. The Blues’ right-back Cesar Azpilicueta is a target for Barcelona who are in the market for a right-back. Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin has also been linked.

Eriksen, Dolberg, Fabregas

The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has tried to play down reports of interest from Barcelona. Martin Schoots told a Danish newspaper that Eriksen is only concentrating on playing for Spurs at the moment. Tottenham are interested in Bournemouth striker Joshua King.

Everton have tied down young striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to a new deal. Arsenal had been linked. The Toffees are also interested in Southampton full-back Cuco Martina and Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg.

Sunderland manager David Moyes looks set to resign after less than a year in charge.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic will be judged on the side’s performances in their final two home games of the season, against Tottenham and Liverpool. The Hammers are interested in Lyon’s 24-year-old Algeria international winger Rachid Ghezzal.

Liverpool are interested in Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. AC Milan have also been linked. However, Fabregas isn’t interested in a move to Italy.

Bournemouth are interested in £3m-rated Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.

Leicester City are interested in Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic as the replacement for Kasper Schmeichel.

Wilfried Bony is being linked with interest from Turkish side Galatasaray. The Ivory Coast international has been frozen out at Stoke City where he is currently on loan from Manchester City.

Manchester City are set to offer a one-year contract extension to Jesus Navas.
