Tianjin Quinjian claim they are still working on a deal to take Chelsea striker Diego Costa to the Chinese Super League club. Tianjin will pay Costa a salary of £32m a year.
Manchester United face competition from at least five other clubs – including Manchester City and Arsenal – for the Monaco full-back Fabinho. Manchester City still want Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci despite the Italy international turning 30 next week. City were put off by Juve’s £30m valuation of Bonucci last summer but may have to pay that amount to secure a deal.
Manchester City striker Enes Unal is wanted by Serie A side Lazio. Unal, 19, has scored 17 goals on loan at Dutch side Twente.
Liverpool have seen a €50m (£42m) bid for Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio rejected by the La Liga side.
