Manchester United are being linked with a £40m bid for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

Arsenal have been told they will have to pay £60m to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak says he is aware of Arsenal transfer interest. More details here.

Crystal Palace have had an £11m bid for Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani rejected by the Portugese club. Sporting have told Palace to pay £22m. Reports from Portugal claim the south London club could even return with a bid close to their valuation.

Swansea City have confirmed that Alan Curtis has been appointed manager until the end of the season. The Swans have seen a £14m bid for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini rejected by the Serie A side.
