Bale, Deeney, Carroll. Tuesday’s Transfer Rumours

Premier League transfer newsManchester United are being linked with a £75m transfer bid for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale. Southampton winger and Manchester United transfer target Sadio Mane wants a move away from the south coast club. Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also interested. Marouane Fellaini won’t be leaving Manchester United this month. However, Nick Powell is being linked with a loan move to Preston North End. Full reports here.

Arsenal are being linked with Watford striker Troy Deeney. The Gunners have ended Serge Gnabry’s loan spell at West Bromwich Albion. Reports here.

Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion are both interested in Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy. Roma and Lyon have also been linked with the Frenchman. Villa’s Charles N’Zogbia is being linked with AEK Athens.

Manchester City are willing to pay £40m for Schalke 04 forward Leroy Sane.

Manchester City will face competition from Chelsea and Juventus for Real Madrid midfielder Isco. However, the sacking of Rafa Benitez as Real Madrid boss and the appointment of Zinedine Zidane in his place means any move will have to wait until the summer. City right-back Pablo Zabaleta is a summer target for Inter Milan.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled out any move for keepers Marc Andre ter Stegen or Timo Horn.

However, Liverpool are in talks over a deal for 16-year-old Polish keeper Kamil Grabara who plays for Ruch Chorzow. Grabara will join the Reds’ academy set-up.

West Ham United are ready to offload striker Andy Carroll. Sunderland and Newcastle United are both being linked with the England international. However, the Hammers will demand a transfer fee of £18m.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all being linked with Lokomotiv Moscow’s £15m-rated striker Oumar Niasse.

Southampton want £7.5m-rated striker Sebastien Haller of Utrecht as the replacement for Sadio Mane.

Leicester City will offer Jamie Vardy a new deal that will more than double his wages at the club. The Foxes have offered £2m for AC Milan midfielder Nigel de Jong and will top that up with a further £1m bonus if they reach the Champions League. Leicester’s move for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic is dead in the water after the Ukrainian side raised their valuation to £25m.

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a deal for Ebbsfleet’s 17-year-old midfielder Shilow Tracey. Spurs are also interested in Charlton Athletic youngster Ademola Lookman and will allow him to move back to the Championship side on loan.

Bournemouth want a loan deal for Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.

Crystal Palace are being linked with a £10m move for Swansea City forward Jonjo Shelvey and are also keen on Wolves striker Benik Afobe in a move that could cost them another £10m. Palace have joined Aston Villa in the race to sign Chelsea striker Loic Remy. That’s despite Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink ruling out any exit for Remy this month. Palace are looking for a permanent deal rather than a loan move but are expected to offer only £6m. Palace are also interested in Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar.

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists there is no release clause in Bojan Krkic’s contract with the club. Reports last week claimed there is a £10m clause in the Spaniard’s deal at the Britannia Stadium.

Watford are keen on Lazio winger Keita Balde Diao but will only make a move if they miss out Tottenham Hotspur’s Andros Townsend.
