Arsenal Target Tracked By Madrid
Arsenal transfer target Antoine Griezmann is wanted by Real Madrid. France international Griezmann was tracked by Arsenal when he was with Real Sociedad, but he moved to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014 for a fee believed to be around £24million.
According to Pipi Estrada of the Spanish television programme El Chiringuito, Real Madrid are now tracking the 24-year-old.
“Florentino Perez has given orders to follow Griezmann,” said Estrada. “The president has said that we are interested in the player and we want to sign him.”
Arsene Wenger spurned the opportunity to sign Griezmann in 2014 after hearing of the availability of Alexis Sanchez. He decided it was either one or the other and plumped for the Chilean over Griezmann.
Now, El Chiringuito claims Griezmann could be open to a move away from Atletico. Given Sanchez’s fine form for the Gunners an Arsenal move still looks unlikely.
Madrid are looking to sign Griezmann in order to pair him in attack with his France international team-mate Karim Benzema.

Kokorin Arsenal Transfer Still On The Cards
The agent of Russian striker Aleksandar Kokorin insists that a future Arsenal transfer for his client is still not out of the question.
The 24-year-old has been linked with interest from the Gunners; however, Arsenal offered only a loan deal during the summer which was rejected by Kokorin’s club side Dynamo Moscow. But his agent Cyril Loginov says he cannot rule out a move away from Dynamo whether it be to Arsenal or elsewhere.
“If all goes well Aleksandar will have a chance to play not only with Arsenal,” Loginov told a Russian newspaper. “Dynamo refused to give Aleksandar to Arsenal in the recent transfer window but it does not mean that he cannot go there, as he wants to do so. There was a proposal, it was examined and refused.”
Kokorin hinted that he wouldn’t be happy with a loan move instead of a permanent transfer. “As far as I was informed they were absolutely correct to refuse it. There were some aspects that were simply incorrect.”
Kokorin scored 10 goals in 39 games for Dynamo last season, a scoring record that caused eyebrows to be raised when he was linked with Arsenal.
