Arsenal are being linked with two of Europe’s brightest teenage prospects with Norwegian youngster Martin Odegaard training with the club this week and Barcelona forward Munir linked with an Arsenal loan move in January.
However, reports claim that Bayern Munich are also on Odegaard’s itinerary.
Manchester United are being linked with a return for defender Patrice Evra. The France international left for Juventus in the summer but has only played six games for the Serie A side.
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says Radamel Falcao is only fit enough to play for 20 minutes at a time.
Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with no fewer than four players: Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and Saints striker Jay Rodriguez, along with centre-backs Raul Albiol of Napoli and Virgil van Dijk of Celtic. The latter is also being linked with Arsenal.
Newcastle United are keen on an emergency loan deal for Chelsea’s 42-year-old keeper Mark Schwarzer. Both Tim Krul and Rob Elliot are out injured until January and 21-year-old Jak Alnwick was brought on during Saturday’s victory over Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Chelsea starlet Patrick Bamford is looking to extend his loan spell at Championship side Middlesbrough. The 21-year-old has scored six goals in 14 games for Boro so far this season.
