Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has played down protests his against his management.

Fans of the Gunners held up banners at today’s game with West Bromwich Albion urging him to go. But when asked after the match about the protest Wenger was irritated by the question:

“I don’t comment on that. Do I need to say it again? I don’t comment on your question,” he snapped.

“Every person has responsibility to prepare for the future, always.”

Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the game to give Arsenal a 1-0 win. The victory, along with Chelsea’s goalless draw at Sunderland means the Gunners have taken a nibble out of the Blues’ lead at the top of the Premier League. However, Chelsea are still 13 points clear of Arsenal. The Gunners remain in sixth place.
