£31m Dybala Is Arsenal Transfer Target

Talks Have Taken Place Over Argentine Striker

Paulo Dybala Arsenal transferPalermo striker Paulo Dybala is being linked with an Arsenal transfer move. But any switch for the Argentine is likely to take place in the summer rather than during the January transfer window.

Reports from Italy earlier this month suggested that talks had already taken place between Arsenal and Palermo over the 21-year-old.

Palermo owner Maurizio Zamparini recently claimed that Dybala would become a better striker than Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic and that his valuation stands at €40million (just over £31million).

Dybala scored five goals in 28 games last season as Palermo won promotion from Serie B. However, he has followed that up in Serie A with another five goals in just 12 games.

A number of top European clubs are known to be tracking Zybala, but Palermo are determined to hang onto him for the rest of the season. Spanish website Fichajes have speculated over a possible January move and claims an agreement is already in place. Whether or not that proves to be the case it will be at least the summer before any move takes place.
