Brozovic Won’t Leave For Peanuts
That’s the verdict of Dinamo president Zdravko Mamic who has told Arsenal – and also Tottenham and Inter Milan, who are both believed to be interested – that the 22-year-old midfielder star won’t be leaving the club for peanuts.
Arsenal are reported to have had talks with Brozovic’s agent, but those discussions haven’t been translated into a concrete bid for the Croatia international.
“We have no offers,” Mamic told Croatian outlet Sportski.net.
“If someone wants one of our key players, it can only be done with a memorable bid, one that knocks me off my feet.
“That is my principle and the numbers appearing in the media do not interest us.”
Despite Brozovic’s denials Dinamo are reported to have rejected a bid from Inter Milan of £3.5million. Speculation over a move to Arsenal has been in the region of €6-8million (£5-6.4million).
Brozovic was watched by scouts from Arsenal when Dinamo played at Celtic in a Europa League tie last month. He was also watched when Croatia played Italy in a Euro 2016 qualifier last weekend.
