Red Devils Monitoring Scotland International
Manchester United and Arsenal are being linked with Hull City full-back Andy Robertson. The Red Devils are reported to have sent scouts to watch the 20-year-old Scot who only moved to the KC Stadium during the summer.
“There has already been one or two with phone calls asking ‘to keep me informed’. That’s always the first stage,” said Tigers’ boss Steve Bruce.
“I had it with Palacios when I was at Wigan and then Valencia when he went off to Man Utd. and if this kid keeps performing the way he is then it might become inevitable.”
The Daily Express claims that both Manchester United and Arsenal are asking to be kept informed about Robertson, who cost Hull just £2.85million during the summer. He broke into the Tigers’ first team at the start of the season and already has nine Premier League starts plus one substitute appearance under his belt.
However, Robertson last week ruled out a move away from Hull in the short-term.
“I’m just stepping into the squad, I’m not looking to move any time soon,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.
“It’s nice if people are saying that because it shows I’ve done well but I’m not looking to go anywhere.
“My focus is on Hull and doing well for them this season, securing the Premier League spot and then climbing the table.”
