Korean Defender Set for Trial
Liverpool are being linked with FC Tokyo defender Jang Hyun-Soo with reports from Japan claiming the 21-year-old South Korean is set for a week-long trial with the Reds before the end of the year.
The 6ft 1in centre-back is due at the club’s Melwood training base in December as coaches at the club run the rule over him.
Jang has made just six appearances for Tokyo in the J-League since moving from Yonsei University in Korea earlier this year. He first came to Liverpool’s attention when he competed for South Korea in the Olympic football tournament this summer.
Should Jang’s trial be successful he could move to Anfield for around £1million.
Reds Linked With Belgian Youngster
Liverpool are also being linked with Belgian youngster Dennis Praet of Anderlecht.
According to TalkSport, Liverpool are keen on the 18-year-old midfielder who is rated at around £4million by the Belgian champions.
Praet broke into the Anderlecht first team last season with seven substitute appearances and has made five starts for the side this term.
